This Chocolate Orange Marble Cake is what happens when two of my favourite flavours refuse to pick a side. Chocolate and orange just make sense together — one rich and deep, the other bright and citrusy — and instead of choosing one for this loaf, I let both share the same tin. Half the batter turns citrusy and bright with orange zest, the other half goes rich and dark with melted chocolate and cocoa. Spoon them into the pan in turns, run a knife through in loops, and the oven takes care of the rest, giving you those swirls every single time without much effort on your part.
Granola: that delightful mix of crunchy oats, nuts, seeds, and sweetness that makes breakfast a joy. But did you know this breakfast staple has a surprisingly long history? In the 1800s, a health-conscious fella named John Kellogg developed granola as a way to promote a healthy lifestyle. Talk about starting a trend!
There have been a few viewer requests for a basic egg-less cake recipe. after I posted my Simple Vanilla Cake Recipe. I have tried many egg-less recipes before to find out this one from Neeta Mehta cookbook to be the perfect one. Very few ingredients go into its making, the main characters being curd and oil. A simple, humble cake that has never failed me.
Let’s get started!
