Hi, I’m Deepali Ohri — a self-taught baker, dessert creator, YouTuber, and someone who truly believes that baking is an act of love and comfort.
Before I ever picked up a whisk professionally, I spent years in the business world — from founding a tech-marketing company to leading corporate trainings across communication, leadership, and soft skills. I built teams, handled clients, launched projects, and lived the fast-paced life of an entrepreneur. But somewhere along the way, I found myself longing for something quieter… something more personal and soulful.
That’s when baking entered my life — not just as a hobby, but as therapy, joy, and creative release. What started as simple weekend baking turned into something much deeper. The more I baked, the more people around me appreciated it. Friends and family kept asking for recipes, praising my cakes and treats — and one day, I just decided to share my joy with the world.
And that’s how this journey began.
In 2017, I started my YouTube channel and blog to document my recipes — from eggless cakes and fusion desserts to festive treats and no-fail classics. Since then, my community has grown beautifully — with over 77,000+ subscribers on YouTube, and a growing presence on Instagram and Facebook. I still shoot, style, and share from my home kitchen in Jalandhar, Punjab, hoping to make baking feel doable and delightful for everyone.
Even today, I find baking therapeutic — the smell of cake in the oven, the swirls of ganache, the perfect bite of something homemade. After years of leading businesses, baking helped me reconnect with myself and express a side that’s soft, creative, and deeply fulfilling.
My mission now is simple:
To help others bake confidently at home, and grow a warm, welcoming baking community that supports and uplifts each other.
