Rich and nutty, these chocolate muffins are great as a tea time snack. These are utterly moist. Its hard to stop at one – in fact, even I ate 2 of them myself. One of the favorites among kids and grownups both, these muffins are perfect to have during your small breaks from studying, during your exams. Let’s check the recipe…..
Ingredients
Serves: 10-12
1 cup of All purpose flour
1/4 cup cocoa powder
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
milk if the batter is thick
3-4 eggs
1/2 cup vegetable oil or butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup chopped & roasted walnuts
Directions
Prep:15min › Cook:25min › Ready in:40min
1. First we need to coat the roasted walnuts with 2 tsp of flour. We do this to avoid the walnuts to get sticked at the bottom while our muffins bake. Coat it properly and keep aside.
2. In a medium bowl, mix together flour, cocoa, sugar, baking powder and cinnamon powder.
3. Preheat the oven to 180℃.
4. In a large bowl combine egg, oil and vanilla.
5. Mix wet ingredients with the dry ingredients; Mix well. Add walnuts, stir well.
6. Grease muffin tin or line with paper muffin liners.
7. Fill muffin liners 3/4 full. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in centre comes out clean.
