Yes, I know, it’s happened to me too may a times.

You meant to make a Christmas Cake in early October, feed it weekly with brandy or rum, let it mature, bake it on or before the big day– and guess what, you didn’t! All is not lost though. There is a very simple homemade version for those who didn’t get time to do all the chores or are fearful of making one for the first time, and it’s also extremely good. It’s a no failure recipe and makes a yummy rum-fruit xmas came.

Here’s the full recipe with the video description.

Recently, There was a headline on one of the articles of NDTV stating” Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli ‘danced like nobody’s watching’ at their Delhi reception. And this made me wonder, do we all really behave the same way? Why shouldn’t they be dancing on the most special occasion of their lives? Was everyone judging them? If yes then why? And this thought made me write about this as my Monday Motivation series.

“Dance like nobody’s watching”

Happy Monday you all beautiful people!

Today’s Monday Mantra is BE YOUR OWN KIND OF BEAUTIFUL.

We are all distinctively created, so why do we compare ourselves with others? In our heads, we always try to be a perfect person, and because of this we are often thinking of what people will say about us, the way we look, dress, the way we walk, talk, behave etc. Especially as women, I feel like there is this invisible range or standard by which we all measure ourselves. We sometimes do not embrace ourselves as we are and we feel ashamed of our skin colour, our body shape, or anything related to us. Instead, we should look at ourselves as individuals. We are all beautiful in our own way.
