Servings: 9 big squares (or 36 small)
Course: Dessert

Ingredients

  • 100 grams butter
  • 400 grams white chocolate chopped
  • 200 grams sweetened condensed milk any brand
  • 10-15 Oreo cookies roughly broken; or any cookie you like

Method

  1. Line a 7-inch square tin with baking paper.
  2. Place a heatproof bowl over a saucepan of simmering water. Add the butter, white chocolate and condensed milk.
  3. Melt everything together over low heat, stirring constantly, until smooth, thick and fudgy. Do not use high heat.
  4. Roughly break the Oreos into chunky pieces (don't crush them) and gently stir them through. Add more Oreos if you like it chunkier.
  5. Take the bowl off the heat and pour the fudge into the lined tin. Press it down and smooth the top with a spatula.
  6. Chill in the fridge for about 4 hours, until set.
  7. Lift the fudge out with the baking paper and cut into 9 big squares. Cut each into 4 small squares or 2 bars if you like.

Notes

Store the fudge in the fridge or the freezer. It keeps for weeks, so it is always ready when guests come over.
For gifting, wrap each piece in baking paper or butter paper and tie it with thread or decorative tape.
