Ingredients

  • 220 grams milk chocolate chopped into chunks; or dark or white chocolate
  • 1 1/2 cups sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup walnuts crumbled; or almonds or hazelnuts

Method

  1. Line a 7-inch square tin with butter paper, covering the bottom and sides.
  2. Put the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl and pour the condensed milk over it, so the chocolate is completely covered.
  3. Microwave on high for 40–50 seconds, then stir until smooth and thick.
  4. Add the crumbled walnuts and mix well.
  5. Pour the fudge into the lined tin and spread it as flat and smooth as you can.
  6. Freeze for about 45 minutes if you want it quickly, or refrigerate for 3–5 hours (or overnight).
  7. Lift the fudge out with the butter paper and cut into 9 squares. Cut each into 4 small squares or 2 bars if you like.
